Recording Notes

The second of two, two-minute cylinders recorded in Lore’s kitchen. It was snowing outside and the weather was very cold, so I had to warm up the cylinders using a hair dryer. Lore improvised using a stack of open books that she picked up at random to inspire her vocal performance. Lore’s voice is so powerful that I had to make her stand several feet away from the recording horn.
